DR.-ING. ARNO ROGALLA
Dr.-Ing. Arno Rogalla studied Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Aachen (RWTH) with the main focus on plastics processing. In 1997 he did his doctorate on the „Analysis of Injection Moulding of Micro-Structured Components Made of Thermoplastics“.
Afterwards he was employed as Vice Director of the Institute for Plastics Processing (IKV) at the Technical University of Aachen (RWTH) under Prof. Walter Michaeli. In the following years, Dr. Arno Rogalla filled positions on different management and managing director levels for several years (Eppendorf Instruments GmbH, Hamburg, a biotech and medical technology company as well as the Oechsler AG, Ansbach, an injection moulder and finally Tremco illbruck International GmbH, Cologne).
As projects always required active cooperation between economy and science, Dr. Rogalla has cultivated relationships with partner companies and universities and institutes as well. Customers benefit from this widespread network with regard to innovation and long-term growth. Dr. Rogalla is a member of the board of administration of the SKZ (South German Plastics Center), Wurzburg, and member of the board of trustees of the Institute for Plastics Processing (IKV), Aachen. For several years, he has also been technical consultant for the AiF (German Federation of Industrial Cooperative Research Associations).
In 2009 Dr. Rogalla founded the consultancy Rogalla Consulting (www.rogalla-consulting.com)
Since summer 2015, he cooperates with Wobbe Bürkle Partner in the field of the Asia Consulting portfolio.
