DR.-ING. HANS WOBBE
Dr. Hans Wobbe, born 1951 in Hamburg / Germany, studied Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Braunschweig / Germany and attained his doctorate at the faculty of mechanics with the theme “Elongational flows of polymer fluids”.
After holding a number of management positions in the field of plastics processing machine manufacturers, including positions as head of development at Werner & Pfleiderer GmbH, Stuttgart / Germany and Managing Director Technology at KraussMaffei Kunststofftechnik GmbH, Munich / Germany, he was responsible as CTO for development and production at the ENGEL Holding Ges. mbH, Schwertberg / Austria with all plants in Asia, Europe and Northamerica since 2004. In 2010, the Partnership Wobbe Bürkle Partner together with Dr.-Ing. Erwin Bürkle was launched in Bavaria. Today, the seat of the company is in Hitzacker / Northern Germany.
He is a member of the company advisory board of the VOSS Holding GmbH + Co. KG, Wipperfürth / Germany as well as member of the founding board of the Institute for Lightweight Structures and Hybrid Systems (ILH) at the University of Paderborn / Germany. He is also member of the “Strategy Circle Plastics Processing” of the VDI (Association of German Engineers). Since 2014 he is recognised in China as Foreign Expert from the “State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs” (SAFEA) and also “Member of 1000 talent plan”.
At the Association for the Support of the Institute of Plastics Processing (IKV) at the RWTH University Aachen, he is responsible for the industrial transfer and is giving a lecture as guest professorship concerning “Combination Technologies in Plastics Processing”.
In the Asia Consulting since spring 2015, we are working together with Dr.-Ing. Arno Rogalla from Rogalla Consulting.
DR.-ING. ARNO ROGALLA
Dr.-Ing. Arno Rogalla studied Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Aachen (RWTH) with the main focus on plastics processing. In 1997 he did his doctorate on the „Analysis of Injection Moulding of Micro-Structured Components Made of Thermoplastics“.
Afterwards he was employed as Vice Director of the Institute for Plastics Processing (IKV) at the Technical University of Aachen (RWTH) under Prof. Walter Michaeli. In the following years, Dr. Arno Rogalla filled positions on different management and managing director levels for several years (Eppendorf Instruments GmbH, Hamburg, a biotech and medical technology company as well as the Oechsler AG, Ansbach, an injection moulder and finally Tremco illbruck International GmbH, Cologne).
As projects always required active cooperation between economy and science, Dr. Rogalla has cultivated relationships with partner companies and universities and institutes as well. Customers benefit from this widespread network with regard to innovation and long-term growth. Dr. Rogalla is a member of the board of administration of the SKZ (South German Plastics Center), Wurzburg, and member of the board of trustees of the Institute for Plastics Processing (IKV), Aachen. For several years, he has also been technical consultant for the AiF (German Federation of Industrial Cooperative Research Associations).
In 2009 Dr. Rogalla founded the consultancy Rogalla Consulting (www.rogalla-consulting.com)
Since summer 2015, he cooperates with Wobbe Bürkle Partner in the field of the Asia Consulting portfolio.
